Services
LMX 4% & LMX 5% are both prescription strength anesthetic creams and can be purchased over the counter. Lmx numbing cream is used to numb the area prior to electrolysis. Not everyone uses the cream but if you are very sensitive this is an option. On the day of electrolysis session its good to come in a few minutes early n be relaxed a bit as rushing and stress causes more discomfort.

Vijay is great! She is always very thoughtful and is fun to talk with. She works quickly and effectively. Her prices are fair and competitive and I've found electrolysis to be permanent, although it does take a while--but Vijay communicates all of this clearly and does not give anything other than accurate information. On a side note, she is very easy to get along with if you treat her fairly and conscientiously and show up on time. I always look forward to our next session.

1. The treatment was fast and effective. We covered a larger area than I calculated. 2. It was not nearly as painful as when I had laser done. I imagine, the Lidocaine I put helped a lot. 3. Ms. Vijay was polite and professional. She was friendly, which looking back now, it's key: We had a friendly talk and it helped me relaxing. I'll def be coming back soon to do more parts.

Vijay is one of the best! Originally found her on a Groupon and decided to stay with her for over a year. She makes you feel very comfortable with great conversation. She's taken me last min when I was in the area several times and has always been very accommodating schedule wise. So happy to have met Vijay for her professional services. Would highly recommend!

I highly recommend Vijay as an electrologist! She really does terrific work. As a professional, she is extremely proficient, effective, and prompt. As a person, she is warm, so easy to talk with, considerate, and genuine. Additionally, she also has good prices and is in a convenient Manhattan location.
