Mary Ann truly has healing hands! I've spent countless hours and plenty of $$ with other electrologists and was still not seeing any results. I was going to give up, but thought I'd try Mary Ann before officially throwing in the towel and let me tell you, best decision! I've started seeing amazing results within the first six sessions -- hair is thinner and growth is massively slowed down! Couldn't thank Mary Ann enough!

Mary Ann is wonderful. Her office is clean easy to get to and she is very thorough and efficient. After a bad experience with an electrologist in Robbinsville, NJ I wasn't sure if I would continue the process of getting hair removed. After a few months I decided to give it another try and found Mary Ann. I explained my reservations and she listened, heard me and understood.

She is upfront and doesn't make you come in for unnecessary appointments so that she can charge more money. Most importantly she did NOT make me feel uncomfortable. It may take a bit longer to get an appointment with her because she is really good, but it is worth the wait. If you need hair removed, Mary Ann is the electrologist to see.

If you want someone who follows all the COVID rules from both government and her own professional association, Maryanne from AMK is the one! She wears gloves, mask and gown, and you have to wear a mask too, at last until the restrictions are over. I have recommended her to friends who are now seeing her as well. She is meticulous in her work and very friendly. I have been seeing her for 2.5 years now and I'm very happy with her work. I recommend her very highly.

I had been coming to Mary Ann or AMK for over a year but she is probably one of those people that only wants ur business if they personally like you. I work at a bar and after the pandemic restrictions opened back up again she simply said to me she didn't want to see me anymore beacuse i came in contact with people all day.idk if u know how electrolysis works but like what? good one lady. I'll take my money elsewhere no problem.

I tweezed my facial hair (chin, cheeks, upper lip) almost every day for years because I was insecure about the dark hairs that would pop up here and there. I also used facial depilatory creams which would leave me with rashes on my face and waxing which would leave me red for days and never fully do the job. I finally decided to try electrolysis and called Mary Ann Kara. Mary Ann put me at ease immediately, talked me through my first treatment and helps me feel comfortable every time I am in her office (it's a spa-like setting, so relaxing as well).

I started off with 30 min treatments twice a month and now, one year later, am at 10 minutes once a month, never touch tweezers and am seeing fewer and fewer hairs (definitely in the 90% less range) and they are lighter, finer and much less visible. I wish I had contacted Mary Ann years ago!

Mary Ann Kara is simply the best! She is a warm, caring individual with years of experience. I consider her my ally in helping with my PCOS diagnosis. She is always ready to work with my schedule, has never failed to call me back, always treats me more than respectfully, and lastly but most importantly gets the job done, quickly, efficiently, and with a great result. It's not fun dealing with PCOS, but knowing Mary Ann is there for me gives me comfort!

This is the third time I have got electrolysis. The first two times I seen no progress in the other two states I lived. But since going to Mary Ann Kara I have seen GREAT progress in just the first week. a few weeks later and the area she's working on is almost clear. She's also extremely nice and trans friendly. She's always on time and very hard working. Her office is also very comfortable between the lighting and the classy music she has playing. I would highly recommend her. You can't go wrong with her!

I've dealt with excessive facial hair since 2005 - that's the year it became noticeable. Shortly after diagnosed with PCOS, this was a side affect to the hormonal imbalance. It's been more than ten years of alternative treatments, painful procedures that gave no permanent results. I became exhausted in 2017 and simply gave up. Until I found electrology but no licensed professionals near me, Poconos, PA.

I found a website of licensed electrologists and Mary Ann was in the top five. I had tried all of them but did not get through to them, difficult to get through and I was desperate so I kept going through the list. Finally, Mary Ann. She spent some extra time because I am about 90miles away from her. She was more concerned about finding the best remedy for me than anything else.

I received a follow up call after the first treatment, talk about putting me at ease. She knew I had upcoming gyn appts and she basically spoon fed me all the questions I needed to ask but didn't know to ask on my own. After the second appt I was cleared of PCOS. BY THE THIRD VISIT half of my face was cleared, less breakouts, the horrid dark shadows of where the most coarse hair was became much lighter.

By the fourth appt my entire face has been cleared once. I'm thoroughly satisfied with my entire experience. If you haven't lived it, you have not one ounce of idea of how humiliating and embarrassing it is for a woman to live with this. It interferes with the joys of life in a way that it almost paralyzes you and each day is a struggle to not this hold you back. BECAUSE OF MARY ANN I have regained my confidence.

I can go the gym, attend meetings and events without the insecurity. I feel alive again. My chin looks normal. I CAN LOOK UP without caring if someone is around me. Kids aren't asking me why I have a beard - yeah, and they say they are so cute. Lol. MARY ANN has gently performed a miracle in my life that I thought was impossible. I looked into electrolysis for my chin and sideburns after laser left a lot of corse and dark hairs. I started going to MaryAnn in April of this year (2016), it is now September. I have seen a dramatic decrease in the corse hair in my chin and sideburns. My skin is softer and no more black bumps on my chin! In addition, MaryAnn is amazing! She is super fast!

I have a lot of hair and only always need 15 mins cuz she is so fast and good at her job. She always gets me into an appointment slot. I work mon-fri, so she always accommodates 6 pm or after for me on weekdays or Saturday appointment. If you are looking to get rid of course hair on your face I highly recommend MaryAnn. And I don't give reviews or recommendations lightly.

But she is fantastic! Last comment which speaks to her customer service. I recently got back from overseas, I am in the military, and called her to see if she could get me in that Thursday, Friday or Saturday. MaryAnn got me in at 8 pm on Thursday. Come to find out I was her last appointment. She did that so she could get me in that week! I was blown away!

Besides her work being amazing and actually creating results. She is just a caring and great person! Thank you so much MaryAnn for helping me get rid of my pesky and embarrassing facial hair and also just being so nice and efficient! Her prices are also extremely reasonable and fair! 5 stars for sure!

When i first visited Mary Ann Kara, I felt low and depressed because of the stubbly hair growing out of my chin. It felt so unfeminine and I was carrying tweezers around with me everywhere I went. One day I decided to call Mary Ann Kara (the owner of this business) and it was the best thing I ever did! She is so professional and caring. Her office is conveniently located and its spotlessly clean.

In less than one year, she has removed the chin hairs and I feel like a new woman. I feel confident again and don't worry when people look at me that they are staring at chin hair. Best of all the smooth chin makes me want to get close to my husband again, without the fear of him feeling stubble! No matter what anyone tells you, this is the ONLY way to permanently remove hair. I tried everything known to man, including laser treatments. Mary Ann, you are an angel and have truly changed my life! Thank you so much!

I don't give 5 stars so easily but Mary has definitely earned every one of them. She worked with my ever changing schedule. She gave me an approximate of how long the electrolysis was gonna take. And her rates are affordable. I decided I was gonna write this review once the electrolysis was almost done and here I am. I have been going to see her for a little over a year.

She explained the process and made me feel at ease. She did a great job and was always able to fit me in her schedule. I am a transgender girl, and she treated me with respect and care. I'm big on customer service and she hits the nail right in the head on that department. Overall I'm very pleased with the results. About her office. It's in the princeton junction area. In a nice building with plenty of parking.
