I was excited to find out that a dermatologist I had used in the past was still practicing. I called and scheduled an appointment and requested this specific person. I was given an appointment and when I came in, not only did I not see the Dr. I had requested but I was informed that this was the only person that I was relegated to and the appointment lasted no more than 15 minutes and I felt as though the Dr. I was subjected to had better things to do. She treated my like my concerns weren't worth her time and she couldn't wait for the appointment to be over. I will not be back.

Great customer service! Very short wait time to be seen and they were super helpful with the biopsies I had done. Would definitely recommend.

Dermatology & Aesthetic Care is the most professional, best run office I have ever visited. Considering I am older now and see a lot of doctors, that is a real compliment. I never wait more than a minute or so. The staff is so friendly and caring. They may you feel like family. I started going when my children were teenagers and needed treatment for acne. So grateful we found this wonderful practice.

I didn't see Dr. Dickerson so I can't speak of her. I saw one of the PA's which I wasn't told I'd be seeing- I was under the impression I'd be seeing the doctor. The medical assistant was very nice. I went in for a spot on my leg that turned out to be nothing. I showed another spot on my side just cause I was already there that I've had for years and has never changed. Said it needed a biopsy but some of the wording used I feel was inappropriate. Wording that heightened my anxiety(which they knew about based on the medical history I filled out).

Also the biopsy they were planning I learned can make a diagnosis harder and inaccurate- especially for what they were testing from. I told them about my anxiety and got the biopsy moved up then they called an hour before the biopsy and cancelled it. Final straw. I don't feel confident in the potential care I would receive there so I found a different place where I can see an actual doctor with 40+ years. Again- I can't speak of Dr. Dickerson since I never met her but the interaction I had with the staff I did meet was less than desirable

Excellent appointment! The office was safe and clean using COVID-19 safety protocols. My appointment with Joni and her medical assistant was very thorough and comprehensive. I am very pleased D&A Dermatology and Aesthetic Care, LLC is my skin specialists. Thanks very much.

This dermatology practice is fabulous, not only because of the quality of care, but also due to the caring nature of all of the personnel. All of the staff, including the front-desk personnel, medical assistants, and the nurse practitioners are kind and compassionate. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice.

I had a great visit at the dermatology and aesthetic care office. When I went in my temperature was taken, the seats are spaced safely apart and the environment and waiting area look very clean and tidy. I felt completely comfortable with the care and the safety they were taking. My visit went great and I felt my questions were answered. The NP also gave me preventative advice for healthy skin. Great place to go.!

Dr. Dickerson's office is the best in the area. The providers and office staff are very knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. Over the past 15 years, I have received excellent care for all my concerns including acne, mole checks and removal, and anti-aging treatments/procedures. It takes true skill and knowledge to provide the standard of care I receive from this practice.

If you're looking into anti-aging, do yourself a favor and go here instead of a "medspa." She offers free, comprehensive skin care consultations and you will receive a quote of everything suggested before you leave the office. There are monthly specials and a rewards program as well. Further, Dr. Dickerson has formulated her own line of skincare products and they can't be beat in terms of quality and price. After my experience here, I would never trust anyone else.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. Joni and her nurse were friendly, listened to our concerns and answered our questions. They gave detailed instructions for prescriptions and helpful tips. The checkout staff was also very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this office, they made us feel welcome and we did not feel rushed.

Outstanding customer service, very efficient at following CDC protocols. I arrived shortly before my scheduled appointment and the team immediately called me back. Dr. Dickerson is very kind and thoughtful, she listened attentively to me and then provided her assessment and options. This visit was a free consultation and I was very pleased with treatment options. Highly recommended.

I am a new patient to this practice. My first visit with NP Moore was refreshing. She spent time carefully examining my skin explaining what she was looking at as she went and offering helpful information about preventative care. She answered every question I had, was patient, and, most importantly to me, she did not rush me or rush the visit. I am very happy to have found this practice.

The team at Dermatology and Aesthetic Care was great at following guidelines for protecting the health of their patients. My experience with dermatologists consisted of getting mole checks twice a year. Last year I developed cystic acne which can be extremely painful and unsightly. I wanted a dermatologist close to my home so I transferred my care to Dermatology & Aesthetic Care. On my first visit, the PA Emily Monroe, knew exactly what it was and gave me options on treatment.

I had some trouble with insurance on one of the prescriptions and Emily stepped in and worked it out so I was able to get what I needed. She is very professional, knowledgeable and genuinely cares for her patients. I have seen Emily for several conditions and I am always pleased with the care that I received, as a result, my daughter became a patient of hers also!

The entire office staff is very welcoming and friendly. The office hours are very accommodating for those who work 8-5. I also love the skin care products that they make! They keep my skin clear and feeling and looking great at a reasonable price. I always recommend them to friends looking for a dermatologist.

Emily Monroe does my annual skin check. She is very complete and friendly. The office is well run. The hours are very convenient. I'm very happy with this office.

I booked an appointment here to be treated for Granuloma Annulare and a couple of places that looked suspicious. First of all, the P.A. Emily Monroe, insisted it was dermatitis even though I had a biopsy that proved it to be generalized granuloma (she should have done some more research about the different types). She diagnosed the place on my nose as basal cell and the one on my chest as pre-cancerous.

I let her do Cryotherapy on the chest, but wanted to wait for the one on my face until after my vacation. She told me that if I waited 6 weeks it would turn into melanoma and they would have to cut into my nose. And wouldn't you think that if I have 2 cancerous spots, you would do a full body check to see if there was more? I decided to get a second opinion at Dayton Skin Care Specialist with an actual MD (Dr. Lydia Carpenter).

Not only did she immediately noticed my granuloma and knew the exact type, did a full body check for any questionable spots, but also told me the spot on my nose is not even pre cancerous, I could live with it for years without it turning into cancer and will probably go away on its own with retinol and sunscreen.

As a long time patient of Dermatology & Aesthetic Care, I have complete faith and trust in this doctor and team. With skin cancer issues in my family, I visit at least two times a year. In 10+ years, every appt. has been "on time". I primarily work with Emily Monroe, and she is FABULOUS -- very professional and personable at the same time. Through various mole biopsies and a really puzzling case of Grover's (yep, I'd never heard of it either!), the entire team has been supportive and focused on solving whatever issue is at hand.
