On four different occasions I sent emails as shown on their website and attempted to reach by phone. I expressed that my Groupon was going to be expiring on December 2nd yet no one called me back. My Groupon expired but I received an offer from Groupon as a one-time courtesy to extend it for another week thereby allowing the Groupon to expire on December 8th.

Last evening I sent a request for a phone call from the business yet again and explained situation and that no one has been calling me back or even sending me any email response. And yet again today 2 o'clock rolls around and I have not received a phone call or email at all. So I called the business yet again and spoke to a woman who sounded like she answered in a train station it was very loud and unprofessional with all the background noise and hard to hear her because I believe she was on her cell phone or something.

I explained my situation to her and she was less than helpful and quite honestly condescending and rude. I expressed my dissatisfaction with not having been given a call to schedule and she did not hesitate to cut me off and said oh yes I sent you two messages. Well I corrected her because no she did not leave me any messages I have one phone and one phone number and one email and one email address only which did not receive a message of any sort and no I didn't go in my spam folder because I checked.

So That was a bold face lie there never was an attempt to contact me back. So as I would imagine anyone would be I was very put off by the apparent lack of customer service and really just the entire experience. The woman said, well ok what is it that you would like me to do.and I said well my Groupon is expiring on Thursday so I either need to schedule a consultation or get a refund.

And she very quickly cut me off again and said -you can contact Groupon to request a refund that's just fine - again in a a snotty condescending tone. Obviously this phone conversation solidified my bad first impressions of this business. I said.oh yes I will be contacting Groupon and I will be leaving a review regarding my experience.

I read the poor reviews, but that was not what I experienced. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I have used several of their treatments and have noticed a huge difference in my skin. I highly recommend the skin rejuvenation. I went to the Enhancing light in Elm Grove, Wisconsin.

As other people have said, don't expect a spa like environment. It's like a doctor's office. I was on time and had to wait 30 minutes in the waiting room. no one was at the desk. I started calling and could hear the phone ring but kept getting their voicemail. I heard the aesthetician working on someone in another room. Without even giving me an apology or saying hello (I apparently don't have a name either), I was rushed in to the treatment room and got a super rushed and quick microdermabrasion/dermaplaning treatment.

The aesthetician said she was going to be late for a meeting. I talked to the other facility that they share in Mequon and told them about the poor service. They acted like they didn't really care but offered that I try a different aesthetician the next time. These treatments are expensive and I can only afford them every so often. Even at the "special" rate, I didn't feel that it was worth the cost.

I went for laser resurfacing. The experience was fine, but the result was that nothing happened to my skin. I have the same brown spots on my face that I went in with and nothing that they told me would happen to my skin happened. I am really disappointed with the results and am driving out there this morning to discuss this with them. I will let you know how they handle it.

This place was THE WORST! I'd never go back again, or recommend it to even my worst enemy. The owner was in, gave me the coldest welcome ever, she acted like she could of cared less that I was there. I knew I needed many treatments and lots of money would have been spent, so you'd of thought with them knowing this they would of been much more accommodating, but no, didn't happen at all.

The girl that attended to me was a total bi&?! The machine and room was so cold. afraid to turn up the heat? I told her this and she said to quit acting like a big baby. I understand that the machine would be chilly, but, she didn't even prepare me at all. EL just didn't act like they even wanted my business. Im a very active lady in the workplace, i have many women employees that i could have recommended to EL, but after this experience no way! I'm never going back even though I need more treatments. I'll gladly drive to another facility that has a much better rating.

Never ever go to Enhancing Light! Do yourself a favor, look for a establishment that has a higher level of business like attitude, and that acts like they're happy to have you as a client. Thank you. Note, EL has 3 locations! After talking to some of my girlfriends/ clients I was made aware that everyone felt the same cold attitudes. Hmmm go figure. The owner is a nasty snot

This review is for any potential Groupon buyers ONLY. I've had good and not so good experiences at this place overall; very nice and skilled people, sometimes their machines are broken. Groupon: Do NOT buy one. A standard cost for this place: $100 equals ONE session on ONE square inch of a tattoo. I have a tattoo that is 10+ years old, and am already 7 sessions in -- It's only about 50% faded.

If you have a professionally-done tattoo the size of a quarter, you'd have to buy at least ten $99 Groupons to see any significant fading. I highly suggest: 1) Getting a consultation from them so they can evaluate your skin type, the age of the tattoo and the estimated cost. THEN 2) get on their email mailing list and waiting for their 50% Off All Packages promo (which came on Dec. 24th last year).

The package gets you six sessions, plus an entire calendar year of sessions after that. With 6 weeks healing time between sessions, this would be about 14 sessions total for one price. Even 7 sessions will just make your tattoo look slightly faded and weird. If you want your tattoo GONE or even almost gone, then expect to pay $400-$1000 go for the package when it's on sale. And expect at least a 1.5 years-2 years of constant sessions for it to be gone completely. Please don't waste your money on a Groupon.

Reviewing this place, and places like it, makes me a bit shy because it is a bit personal. But, oh well. If I was a person who was looking into laser hair/tattoo removal, I would want all the info that I could get. So, here it is. I was recently in Kansas City for quite a while, where I began my hair/tattoo removal journey. So, I do have something to compare it to.

When I called for information, I had to schedule a consultation. But, that was expected, as I had to at the place that I went to in Kansas City as well. When I walked in, it appeared more like a doctor's office than like a luxurious medical spa. However, it never claimed to be a nice cushy medical spa. The consultation went off without a hitch, and I was able to resume my treatments right on schedule.

My consultation was at the location in Glendale, however that location does not ever have the tattoo laser. So, I had to go to Franklin. I arrived about 30 minutes early, assuming that I would have to fill out paperwork. I was also hoping that I could get started early. I was able to get in early, however it was only because the person scheduled before me did not show up.

The room appeared doctor's office-esque, however it had a massage table in it that was covered with paper. I laid down and the tattoo removal began. Having forgotten to get a needle so that I could anesthetize myself with lidocaine, I braced myself for the worst. Surprisingly, it was quite tolerable. That being said, I had already had about 4 treatments previously and it is a given that as the tattoo fades, the process becomes less and less painful. Overall, I would have to say that my experience with laser tattoo removal at this place is quite similar to that of my experience at the previous place that I went to. Then, I went to a different room and got started on the laser hair removal.

This place uses a different system than the place that I used to go to. Although laser hair removal is an uncomfortable experience in general, this most recent experience was far more painful than my past experiences. However, the results are more immediately visible, as the lasered hairs burn, and fall out right away. The place that I went to in the past gave no immediate results and it took a week or two to see results.

When I say that this was far more painful, let the puddle of sweat on the table after I got up be a testament to that. Or maybe, let the burns on my skin be proof. I will not hold the burns against the tech or the place, as the tech was very attentive. However, I guess that I just have too high of a pain tolerance. When I return for my next treatment, I will be sure to tell the tech that I got burned so that she can put the settings a bit lower. As far as long term results go, only the future knows.
