Your stylist will use our signature dry-cutting technique, so please arrive at the salon with your curls detangled and dry, in their natural state. Please, use minimal product and no hairspray. This award-winning technique was designed to add gorgeous, light-reflecting highlights to all natural textures.
Interested in adding length and/or volume to your hair? We are certified in several extension methods here at Hair Expressions. All extension maintenance depends on the individual circumstance. Variables include natural hair growth rate, type of products used, tension applied on dry or wet hair, amount of heat, etc.

I asked for red balayage and showed a few pictures. I left looking crazy because she kept scrunching my already very curly hair making it frizzy. I spent $275 to go home and redo my hair and now I have to buy a toner in the color I wanted because I somehow ended up with blonde highlights on top of my natural hair color. I have been going to hair expressions for about 10 years now and have always been very happy! I recommend it to anybody looking for a new hair stylist. I personally see Misty who has been nothing short of a miracle worker and has always been able to bring my visions (no matter how drastic) to life. The salon is clean, the products they use are top notch (and they won't try to pressure you into buying anything just to make an extra buck like some salons), the staff is friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this salon enough.

Having long, curly, unruly hair, it's always been difficult to find someone who can not only manage it, but also make it look great. Emily is fantastic, and not just because she shares my name. She's personable, followed all of my specifications, and gave me a killer cut. She and the rest of the staff are great at making you feel comfortable, especially if you're still feeling uneasy about getting out of the house. I always feel welcome at this salon, and highly recommend it!

Emily is easily a miracle worker with curly-frizzy hair, especially here in the south! She has been cutting my hair to give the most amazing curls and movement, and in spite of my advanced age, my friends believe my hair color is "natural". I love having a stylist with such a perceptive and creative eye. Plus, she asks such great questions to discern personal concerns or tendencies. Her awareness and knowledge of products is vast and her ability to teach me how to use them and style my own hair is invaluable! I am truly grateful for Emily.

I am from Indianapolis, IN here visiting before we move to Nashville in 3 weeks. I took a chance on coming here, I am not very trustworthy when it comes to my hair. I had my hair turned orange from my old stylist. From start to finish I received warm and inviting customer service. I have found my new hair stylist and would refer anyone to Amy Simmons.
