I chose this spa because of the reviews & it's close to home for me. Booking was smooth other the phone and appreciate all the appointment reminders they send out. On the day of, checkin was easy since I filled out the intake forms online. Which I highly recommend. This was my first LHR session so I was very nervous. Valerie was the kind soul in charge of zapping me today.

She answered my 500 questions and talked me through the tough zaps. Check out was smooth but I didn't receive the Yelp discount as expected. I did mention that I found them on Yelp during the booking but I didn't remind them at check out. The total was 160. & booked for my second session. Can't wait!

I went in for filler and Botox - first time - so I was a little apprehensive since I didn't know what to expect. I had Nurse Sarah inject me and she was fabulous!i didn't know what I wanted so she gave her recommendations and everything was seamless! She gave me information I needed to watch for and gave her info for just in case and made a follow up! I would definitely definitely recommend anyone especially first timers who are unsure about these services to definitely give it a try and book with Sarah! Thank you!

Bridget and Leilani you both need to stop talking! I was going to update my lip picture but I shall respond to you now. So as I MENTIONED I wanted my lips as EVEN As possible! So no LEILANI did NOT listen to me AT ALL! Putting more then Half a syringe in my bottom lip alone was not going to make my lips even. I Don't care how long Leilani was a nurse, she DOES NOT LISTEN.

My other review was a lot longer so I had to make it short and cut out how I had to make you guys see me. How you were going to make me PAY to put filler in my top lip. Then how you guys MADE ME LEAVE because you didn't want to deal with me! My bottom right lip still has that discoloration to it & it actually spread to an Even bigger area. I still have that hard bump in my bottom left lip.

And to add something new my bottom lip literally has a split right down the middle of it! This popped up about a week ago. A big line! A very noticeable line! AS I MENTIONED I officially wanted to only use half of the syringe but LEILANI said she couldn't do that because you don't save used syringe's. So why I'm GODS name would she put half a syringe in my bottom lip?

Her assistant KANOE heard the whole thing. But of course you guys are going to lie about everything. So Bridget you are a horrible manager so don't try to defend yourself and push it on me. I have proof all in my lips. So please do me a favor and piss off. Updated photos coming soon!

Lisa is magic! I have never been happier with the results of my lip filler! I had lip filler done by a different injector in a different state that I was unhappy with. I came to Lisa for help. After my examination she determined the safest route to get the best results was to dissolve the old filler and start over. March 2nd we dissolved the old filler and yesterday lisa gave me brand new lips! I can't express my excitement enough! Look at these beauties. Lisa is amazing!

I love this spa! It's very clean and the employees are really nice. I got fillers and a lip flip done by Denise a few weeks ago. My lips came out amazing and I get a lot of compliments on them. I highly recommend this spa!

Went in for my second LHR with Janika! Finally got the spelling hehe, didn't want to butcher it last review haha. But she is AMAZING. I love her personality and she is honestly such a pure person. Made me feel super comfortable the whole entire time and made sure I was doing okay. -------------------------------------------------------------------- From my first appointment here are the updates (my experience): * armpit hairs grew back SO THIN (or not at all) i noticed that the growth was very minimal and I was shocked because I had only one previous appointment. * bikini also had a pattern with growth.

At first was very patchy like some would sprout hairs and then the other sides would be bald LOL I WARNED YOU ABOUT TMI hahaha, but then eventually they grew out but super slowly. I also would say they were thinner than usual but not as thin as the way my pits were. Again, the rooms were beautifully set and clean. Parking was not a hassle at all (my appt was 5:15pm) Thank you Janika & everyone at Honolulu MedSpa! I'm so excited to come back for my next appointment!

I saw a lot of people had a great experience here, and I was hoping to have the same. After coming out to the parking lot to get me 10 minutes late, I was walked into the room by someone who barely said a word. The other lady in the room said we'll see if we have time to fit you in since you are late, and gave off a rude and rushed demeanor. I am sure they are trying to fit as many clients in to make as much money as possible, but just know it will be at your expense of getting a personable and friendly experience.

Lisa, as her assistant would say is "The Lip Fairy" I searched my heart out for 6 months straight on who to start going to when I moved here and I am so happy I found her. It's only the day after my appointment and I am in LOVE with me lips. I even did a little chin pop to balance my profile and I feel like a new woman. She is extremely detailed in her appointment, talks to you and makes sure to give you what you are in there for.

I generally felt she enjoys what she does. There is a parking lot, the place is cute and clean, she has a really sweet assistant that is really helpful and makes you comfortable through the procedure which I really appreciated. The girl at the front desk was pleasent as well! They also gave me a military discount without me asking for it, that never happens. I am actually excited to go back, which isn't something I've ever said about any Medspa back home. Thank you Lisa!

Poor business etiquette. Poor management. Poor all around. After going here for almost 2 years: My service provider "accidentally" injected one side of my face (crows feet area) with kybella instead of Botox and I've spent $4500 trying to fix it at a plastic surgeons office as my face deteriorates a little more every week. What a joke this place is!

I called to meet with the owner in person and we made an appointment for 2 weeks out. A week before our appt he has someone from the Spa call me and essentially try to demean me, tell me there isn't anything they can do to help me and get out of the meeting I had scheduled with the owners my 5th attempt to resolve and 2nd time I'd been in to show them the horrifying results. Hate crimes? Human error? Poooooooor customer relations?! Desperate to succeed? Racist? Not sure but they are not worthy of injecting anyone with anything! Be careful!

I had lower leg, underarm and Brazilian laser hair reduction done here during the time that I lived in Honolulu. The pricing was reasonable and the service was excellent! Staff was kind and approachable and services were completed in a timely manner. I have since moved away from Honolulu but had one of the lower leg and underarm services left on my account.

Since they were the free ones connected to my packages, they had no monetary value to be refunded. However, they never expire! So Chelsea was respectful and let me know that if I ever came back to visit that I could use the last services then. I appreciated her clarity and found her incredibly pleasant to talk to. I would suggest anyone looking for world class service related to medical spa needs come here! Loved it!

Poor customer service and no information for waiting customers for late staff. Had an appointment did all the prepaperwork scheduled way in advance called to to confirm I arrived and was 5 min early and staff no show. Waited another 20 min and not one staff member called or came out to say staff was running late. I had to call again 3 times to let them know just cancel if they can not be on time or let me know staff is late. If this business has no policy for informing customer who are waiting in a parking lot due to their restrictions then there are better places to go.

Just came in for first LHR appointment. Super quick and easy, the lady I had was funny and made me feel so comfortable. I don't want to butcher the spelling of her beautiful name so I will update it when I get her business card hehe. But the place was great, greeted from my car (due to covid they take temp at your vehicle) and then again by the ladies behind the desk.

The hallway and rooms were clean and beautifully set. Overall I'm excited to see results, and super happy I was directed to Honolulu MedSpa! Mahalo, see you folks again soon!

I was looking for a place to get laser hair removal and am so happy I found Medspa. They do a consultation over the phone and discuss what to do to prep for your appointment, when you get there you call and check in on the phone and someone will come get you from your car. Once we went in it was friendly and clean! I can honestly say the treatment did not hurt at all to my surprise. It was quick and easy. Also, if you go in December they are having a a special buy two get one free!

I had the absolute best experience with Denise. She was so personable, so friendly, and such a great listener. First, we talked about what I wanted to achieve and what I thought my problem areas were. From her excellent knowledge and expertise in the field, I immediately felt so comfortable, especially because this was my first time getting Botox. I cannot praise her enough and I am extremely happy with the results. I should have went to Denise at Honolulu MedSpa sooner! I highly recommend Denise!

I have had an excellent experience with Honolulu Medspa. I am currently undergoing laser hair removal treatments and the equipment is top on the line, completely painless, and the aestheticians are all very personable, knowledgeable, and kind. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly and professional staff member who checked my temperature and escorted me inside. We talked about my goals and desired results and they came up with a great plan along with guidance on what to do after each visit. On the day of my next appointment, I was a bit nervous since I did not have laser hair removal done before. Marlie made me feel comfortable and, to my surprise, my session was painless! Definitely returning again to see her and I'm very pleased that they support those who serve in the military. Aloha and mahalo nui loa!

I have only had laser hair removal done so far. Looking forward to doing more of the other treatments that they offer. It's always kept neat and clean, people are highly skilled and really sweet and I am seeing great results. What more could you ask for? They are awesome!

I recommended this place to a friend of mine because I've had nothing but great experience to date. Unfortunately I'm sad to say their customer service has gone down hill. Before drafting this post I really wanted to give them a chance to make it right. I called to communicate a complaint on behalf of my friend and requested to speak with a manager.

I was told Bridgette would give me a call by the end of the day. It's been 3 days and I've not heard a peep. My girlfriend (gf) went in for a Brazilian laser treatment and was told to shave beforehand. Mind you when I had my first treatment I was told the same thing but the receptionist did not go into detail of how clean shaven you must be.

So when I went I was told I didn't clean it enough and the nurse mention they usually charge a shave fee but was nice enough to waive it because I mention the instructions were not clear. I even told the receptionist after my treatment that pretreatment instructions should be more thorough for newbies like myself. Fast forward same thing happen to my gf.

Well her aesthetician, Kanoe told her she can't get a full laser treatment because she wasn't shaven enough. I told my gf that happen to me too but they can charge a fee to shave which she was more than willing to pay but with COVID they were no longer shaving their clients. My gf walked away with a partial treatment but charged for a full.

She was upset and I too was upset for her. Treatments like this is not cheap so how is it right to charge someone a full treatment when you didn't get a full treatment nor was it clearly explain properly before coming in to force it on the client to pay for that visit. Kanoe didn't even offer her a disposable razer at the time to give her the opportunity to clean herself better.

Instead she just told her she had to stop and let her on her way. It's unfortunate because when you recommend a business you put your your credibility on the line. I have always had great service but it turns out they're all with nurses who I'm told will no longer be treating laser service patients but rather aestheticians moving forward.

I have one more treatment left and will not be coming back. I had hope that they would of provided the level of service you expect from a 4 star business. It shouldn't take a bad review to get a response and sadly I do notice more negative reviews from this place in the past year. Hawaii is such a small island and bad reviews spread faster than good. I hope they take my post and work on training their staff better because at the end of the day customer service brings back repeat customers.

Valerie Gomes is not only very good at her craft, but she actually cares about the patient! I received treatment from her last week, and today I received an email asking how I was doing. It touched me that she personally checked in on me. Patient care at its best!

Nurse practitioner Sara was professional and super sweet! She really helped to calm my nerves and fear of needles. I also had my first laser hair removal treatment and it was quick and pain free. I am awful with names and cannot for the life of me remember the name of the lady who did it but she was FANTASTIC. Basically all the staff I met at the MedSpa were great

This was my first Hydrafacial/dermaplaning experience. It was wonderful. My beauty expert was Veronica and I give her a 10 for her care in going over every process of the procedure and tips going forward to help with my skin condiontions and advice on other treatment options. The facility is impeccably clean, temperature taken prior to entering, and staff was super friendly. Sara was my nurse. Super sweet. Made me fell relaxed. I am so happy I found this business. I have already booked 3 more appointments.

Professional. Great deals. Awesome staff! I recently went in for my first laser appointment with Tiana and everything went smoothly and I was in and out within 30 minutes! Upon arriving, you are required to call and check-in with staff due to covid protocols. The inside of the building also looks very modern and absolutely spotless. Tiana also did a great job explaining the ins and outs of the procedure and was also open to answering the questions I had at the time of the visit.

I highly recommend booking with Tiana when considering Honolulu Medspa. She did an awesome job! Parking: There are designated stalls out front and you are also required the call once you find parking. If medspa stalls are not open, there are other stalls close by.

Marley was super awesome today but can I say 175$ for a dermaplane! This is a very simple procedure and they are charging $175! They get you to do an intro facial and you can not just do the dermaplane. That's a rip off! Been doing this procedure for A long time and the most I payed is $75 because all they are doing is shaving ur face. This place is ripping everyone off! Do not spend your well made money here! Ridiculous!

I've had preventative Botox a lot before so I know what to expect. I'm very disappointed in my results from this MedSpa. It's like the treatment didn't work at all or never even happened! Every other time I've had it, I have been so happy and impressed with my results. I went in for a follow up appointment and received more units and I'm still unhappy.

Just a bummer that I wasted so much money for no results. :( I called after my first appointment and told them I was unhappy with my results. When I went to the follow up, I also said I felt like it didn't work so we did more (and spent more $$$) and when they called me after the follow up, I told them I was unhappy again with my lack of results. I never once said I was happy with my results.

Used YELP to find the best place for some laser hair removal and came up with Honolulu MedSpa coming up on top. My pre screening was done via the phone and when I came in for my appointment 2 weeks later I was very impressed with their safety protocols, Kanoe was my tech and she was amazing. I have already booked my follow up appointment and made sure it was with her as well. On a side note they offered a $50 discount for mentioning I found them on YELP!

It was my first time getting a facial and it was with Tiana, who was so sweet and kind! My appointment was at 5pm and we started exactly at that time. The room I had my facial in was very clean and comfortable from the temperature, soft sheets, and relaxing music. Her welcoming presence, and knowledge with her job made me feel so comfortable having her work on my face. I enjoyed every minute of my facial and plan to come back soon! :

I just recently had my advanced Hydra facial with Veronica and the experience was absolutely amazing! The care and attention that gives to your face is spectacular. It's like she is the skin whisperer and my skin has never looked better! I've noticed a dramatic difference in my skin's texture and appearance since getting my facials so I highly recommend the experience and Veronica!

I also come to the spa for laser treatments and my experience and results from that are also amazing! Especially with Sarah! All the staff make you feel so welcome and comfortable! Definitely love coming here for a 5 star experience!

ZERO STARS! Today I called to re-confirm my appointment and I was told it was at 3:00! I drive all the way out from Mililani and when I arrive they tell me it was at 2PM! SERIOUSLY! They even admitted, "oh yes when you did call the girl did tell you 3:00 but we can't take you" But, we confirmed your appointment through text and email. FIRST OFF, AGAIN I called TODAY because I didn't have access to my phone or email.

So why tell me TODAY it was at 3!?! AND have the nerve to try and call me when I'm driving there to leave a message and threaten that all future appointments will require a deposit. Then Leilani didn't even have the decency to take me in for a simple lip injection refill, I was told she has to leave, but I sat in my car writing this review first almost 45 minutes and I didn't see her leave. Sad. and extremely disappointed in her lack of consideration. ESPECIALLY when it was a staff error!

Their staff sucks! Saying the office staff is the "Sunshine" is a false statement. The front desk staff are all rude. It was difficult to schedule an appointment from the very beginning. I had to reach out to Leilani via Instagram, twice, because the front desk wouldn't even call me back to schedule my first initial appointment. OH! They also have this option of texting when they answer, what a joke.

No one responds. What makes it worst! I was suppose to be seen in June then someone from their facility switches it to July without telling me. DO NOT EVER have your services performed here! They aren't concerned about anything except taking your money. There's alot more services available with friendlier staff and that are willing to accommodate you In response to my post by an incompetent staff member.

Here's my IG message that I had to contact Leilani because NO ONE had called to schedule my first appointment. UNPROFESSIONAL by saying my claims are untrue when I HAVE THE FACTS to back my claim YOU folks need to work on taking accountability and stop deflecting your errors on the consumer

They are great! Everyone is friendly and Lisa was amazing! I am very happy with the results. They were also being very safe which I liked a lot. I will definitely be going back.

I have been to a few injectors in Honolulu and this is one place I would not trust again with my skin and/or face. My first experience with Dysport with Lisa was good. I went back and referred my friend but we saw different RNs who were not as good as Lisa unfort. My friend spent thousands of dollars here on fillers and Botox, I spent a few hundreds on Botox, both of us had better experiences other places.

My friend was severely bruised and her Botox did not seem to take effect over a week later which never happens. On top of both of us not being very satisfied w our treatments, they told us both I would get $50 off for referring her, but at checkout forgot to apply my discount. No biggie, accept when I noticed and called the next day, no one called me back.

A week later after my vacation, I called again. The front desk said only the manager could refund me, so I spoke with her. She was unhelpful and told me all they could do is apply the discount on a future service if I book again. Why would I trust them again with my skin, face and my money when they admit they overcharged me but refuse to refund me?

She said she would talk to the owner but then emailed me back the same thing that I'd have to book another service again with them to get the discount I should have already had. HUH? It's laughable. I tried to call the manager Shay back to explain that's not fair and she doesn't return my calls or emails. Very poor customer service. Shay should not be a manager.

She doesn't hold her office staff accountable or make things right with the customer when they make mistakes. They just want more of your money and don't care. Very sad. I would suggest either Rita at Shim Ching or Stacy with Scott Anderson office if you want a quality injector and excellent team/customer service for the same prices as this place.

This office is cheap in bad area but they still charge a lot for poor quality. Don't make the mistake I made going here. (I only went initially bc they had a special, never again.)

I love this place! All the employees are knowledgeable, friendly and very attentive to your needs. Prior to finding this place, I went to another place in Ala Moana for my botox and feel VERY uncomfortable by the injection nurse. I've seen both Kourtney and Leilani here and they were both so nice to work with. They often have specials on their website for a great deal. Regardless, I will continue to go to them for the professionalism, convenience of location and friendly employees.

My first experience was amazing here at Honolulu MedSpa. I actually won a giveaway which included: -Advanced Hydrafacial -LED Therapy -Lymphatic drainage -Illuminating Hydrojelly mask Place was easy to find and ample amount of FREE parking. Prior to my visit I was sent an email of all the forms that needed to sign and all the COVID questionnaires.

Which I think is great so you don't get bombarded with all the paperworks right before your relaxing appointment. I parked the car and called to check in. They checked my temperature prior to entering the their facility. Place looks clean and spotless and they had air purifiers in the bathroom and the room where I had my treatment in. My esthetician Christina she was so nice and professional.

She explained to me each treatment and what's it for. To be honest I thought I wasn't going to have a great experience because my whole treatment was free but everyone was so nice. Thank you again Honolulu MedSpa and Christina for such an amazing experience. I HIGHLY recommend this place and will be definitely returning.

I would give it one star- But the last doctor (or technician? idk.) acted as a medical professional who's priority is safety should. I get the concern. But hear me out. Electrodessication- I went to have my first consultation at the end of October (27th I think) It was a later appointment (after 4PM). The nurse who saw me got my family history, asked questions and evaluated the spots I wanted treated.

When I asked how much it would be, she said she could do both spots for $130 since one was small. Awesome, right? I later call in the beginning of December to actually schedule the appointment. After they asked me if I have already been evaluated, they seem to not have any of my information or record of my consultation. ( I turned in signed consent forms before my first consultation.) I am told the quote I was given was wrong.

That it is $150/ spot and they wouldn't do my other smaller spot for free, like the first person I saw told me they would do. Whatever. I really want and need this done so let's just get this done. I set an appointment date. The day of my appointment arrives. I go in the office. They go through the same "have you had a consultation?" like they don't have any record of me already turning in signed paperwork.

The person who does the procedure numbs me up. seems concerned about my skin tags. so she brings in a second doctor for another opinion (3rd person from Honolulu Medspa now looked at my skin tags) this time they decide to refuse me the procedure and tell me to go to a dermatologist. Why couldn't the first doctor I saw make this call and spare me all the time?

I disclosed my family history right away. I know the last doctor I saw just cared about my health. Its not her fault. She was very nice, but I feel like they didn't trust my knowledge of my body. I feel concerned my information wasn't reviewed properly to begin with. Yikes. I needed this done ASAP because my new pet bird was chewing at my skin tag. Well, She ended up BITING IT OFF last night. Saved me $150. I'm sure the electrodessication would have been much less painful. Guess a dermatologist isn't going to get to test the tag after all. :/

My opinion hasn't changed. I wanted to share one more thing. Where ever you go, ask them to fill the syringe in front of you. I made the mistake of allowing the "nurse" from this fraudulent establishment to leave the room and come back with a filled syringe. NEVER, EVER allow this to happen. My personal rule is they must fill the syringe from the glass bottle in front of you. Don't accept "oh we mix our own." Walk away if they attempt this.

And they should be injecting into the muscle. This pinches, but is worth it. They tried to tell me about this Korean technique.reject it and stick with injecting into muscle. I've told everyone I know to stay away from this place. Of all the places that you can go to get Botox on this island, I highly suggest you look past this business. Go to Dr. Grima at Straub. Reputable, well-priced, she fills the syringe in front of you, and you get injected by the Dr. herself!
