Being an Electrologist is just a job for some, but for our staff member you meet at Image Care is dedicated and committed to our clients' health and well being. I've had electrolysis around Boston, and around southern California. One of their people is in a class of her own, when it comes to electrolysis. I have very thick facial hair, and one time, she cleared my face in three hours. I hesitate to mention it, because it sets a bar so high, but even if she did half as much, she would have done more than most people would done in more time.

Electrolysis is the science of permanent hair removal. Using state-of-the-art technology, a minute amount of electricity is gently applied to the base of the hair follicle. This process destroys the hair growth tissue. Therefore, the regenerative ability of the hair follicle is permanently eliminated.

I have just started coming here recently, but I have been seeing Monique at another location for over a year now. This place is very nice and everything is clean. I totally recommend seeing Monique she knows what she's doing and knows her stuff (which is why I go to her specifically at two different places!). I get along with her very well and love talking to her!

Image Care refused me treatment because I am transgender. The person who answered the phone when I called told me that they do treat transgender clients, booked an appintment for me, and advised me to pay ahead of time to get a discount. When I arrived the technician excused herself and came back a minute later with the owner. The owner told me that they would not treat me.
She said that their refusal to treat transgender patients was because "they might say that are going through these changes but no really be." When I asked her why that should matter to them she informed me that is mattered "because they might attack us." She then told me to leave.

I started going here about 8 months ago when i started working in somerville. i go for electrolosys on my eyebrows and i have seen many different people here because of my hectic work schedule and i have been so happy with everyone of them. they really listen to what you want and actually do that unlike other places where they just do whatever they feel like. i have an appt this week and cnt wait to go! thanks for being so great girls!
