I had my first Vbeam treatment with Dr. Tavelli approximately two weeks ago. His treatment team was very thorough in explaining this new procedure and Dr. Tavelli was objective and kind. Although I have not reached the end of my healing, my results for angioma & blood vessel redness removal are very apparent and I'm so pleased. I will definitely be returning for future treatments.

Medical care was quite fine. But during Covid pandemic, while otherwise taking full precautions, the receptionist and back office staff person were not wearing masks.

He's a BUTCHER and I have the craters in my face and neck to prove it. Very rough when interacting with patients. No skill with a scalpel. Around our house he is known as 'Bert the Butcher'.

I've been to so many Dermatologists over the years and I had all but given up. Dr. Travelli is so nice and he gave me hope. Even if this treatment does not turn out he said their are other options which I've never been told before. I feel like he knew exactly what was happening for me and he made me feel comfortable which is a big deal to me. So I'll be recommending him to everyone in search of a dermatologist!

Dr. Tavelli is an calm, kind, and experienced dermatologist who knows what he is doing. I have lived with a chronic illness that sometimes surprises me with unfamiliar skin problems. Dr. Tavelli knows exactly what to do and then he follows me closely until the problem is GONE. I really appreciate how he treats me and advises me. Although I don't see him often when I do I am reminded of how fortunate I am to have such a caring and capable Dermotlogist right here in town. Thank you Dr Tavelli!

Checked all my moles. Was super patient with me and my two year old who tagged along. Said come back in three years because all looks good! Only thing is I would have liked him to burn off a bumpy mole; dermos in the past have done with no charge. He was conservative and did not feel he needed to remove anything. Considered aesthetic if remove.

Been visiting Dr Tavelli for 5+ years as i have had numerous minor skin cancers removed and treated. He is very capable and thorough, always taking the time to answer all my questions and concerns. What really impressed me is that he meets monthly with local dermatologists to keep current on research and sharing new thoughts and treatments. Very impressive. His staff is great, very helpful, capable, friendly, and efficient. I recently moved to Olympia, but still make the trip to Portland because he is that good.

Maybe the OBSESSIVE women looking to get rid of wrinkles like him. But, I didn't have the same experience as the other reviewers. I was referred to Dr. Taveli by my Gastro for psoriasis. After waiting over two months for an opportunity to see him, his examination of my skin condition was very poor. He stood away from me and looked at my skin from a distance.

I have been to half a dozen different dermatologists in the last twenty years and each one puts on gloves and takes samples of my psoriasis and always offer to remove this dark mole I've had since I was a teenager. He had not done any research of my medical history before offering me any of his recommendations. That is a HUGE negative for me. Doctors should know about a patient's past before they make any decisions or offer suggestions. Then, a week after my visit, I had another appointment in the same building and as I got off the elevator I saw Dr. Tavelli. He looked right at me and kept on walking.

Dr. Taveli inspires confidence: he is friendly, receptive, empathetic, and highly competent--and, his office staff reflects that.

Great professional staff and the DR. is awesome. Cured the problem, gave me a ton a free samples and because my lame insurance doesn't cover squat, he charged me 80 bucks and I was out of there. Good people no bs and they were awesome.

I admit, I'm a bit obsessive about my skin. Fortunately, I come from a family who has been blessed with good skin genes. Unfortunately, that means that any time the tiniest blemish pops up, I freak out. Enter Dr. Tavelli. Once a year, I visit Dr. Tavelli to have my moles checked as there has been some skin cancer in my family. He's incredibly vigilant and competent as he looks things over and informs me that I'm doing just fine. Inevitably, the conversation always leads to my feelings of inadequacy with my complexion.

He smiles and tells me that everything is fine and my skin is in great shape.but what he does that other dermatologists I've seen don't is validate that even someone who has been blessed with good skin genes might still be looking to improve things. So, while I would love for him to have some remedy for the rare blemish I get, he instead talks about nighttime creams to moisturize and commends me on my daily sunscreen use. I'm sure having a patient like me takes a great deal of patience but I appreciate that not only does he practice it but also manages to validate my neurotic tendencies about my skin.
