I went in for a microdermabraison appointment today. This one lady told me that this other treatment the "dermablading" is a mixture of microdermabraison and blading. I had no idea what it was and she said its good and also after 25 years of my life I got rid of the peach fuzz thinking that the extraction would give better results. But this lady literally used a blade and her fingers and a mask and a small massage and called it a day.

I went there because I thought they would use a machine for microdermabraison, because the rest even I can do at home. My after pictures were WORSE than before. Don't go here, save your time, energy and skin.

My wife and I had an absolutely lovely experience at this clinic today! (December 31st, 2021). We both received essential facials. The reception area was sparkling clean and the receptionist was friendly and polite. Both of our facials were excellent and our skin is glowing! Our estheticians were wonderful and professional. WOW is the best way to describe Skin Improvement! If you are considering going to Skin Improvement and you are reading reviews don't bother reading the bad ones because the staff/ service is amazing. My first consultation was with Missy to go over micro-needling and she was so nice, personable, and highly educated. Zara helped me throughout the whole process of micro-needling- what was going to happen, what the procedure felt like, after care, EVERYTHING. Antonella did the micro-needling and I have no words to describe how great she was.

I was nervous at first but she assured me it was harmless. All the girls that I have talked to are GREAT and such a big asset to the business. Definitely my new favourite place! Thank you girls for making my first experience fantastic, can't wait for my second!

I go to Dr Comite every six months for a full body checkup. His office is extremely efficient, never a wait and you get in and out quickly for routine visits. Fantastic Derm! I saw several Derms over the years and no one was able to successfully diagnose the type of dermatitis I had nor come up with an effective solution. Until I went to Dr Comite about 14 years ago. Dr. Comite is thorough, conservative in his treatment and really cares about getting results for his patients!

Dr Comite has been my dermatologist for the past 4 years. He takes every single visit and patient seriously. He has a phenomenal bedside manner, he takes the time to explain and outline your visit. I would recommend anybody in the city to see Dr. Comite as he is up to date and into an educated in the field.

I started seeing Dr. Comite approximately two years ago. Though in my 30s, I was still getting pimples on my face on a consistent basis and I figured that enough was enough. Dr. Comite helped me with a more permanent fix. He understood my situation and put me on a new acne routine. While my skin improved, I was still frequently getting pimples. Dr. Comite then recommended that I take the next step and go on a low dose of accutane.

Problem solved. I haven't had a single mark on my face since I started the medication. I'm hoping that continues forever but even if it does not, I trust that Dr. Comite will be able to work with me on any future issues.

Dr. Comite has been my dermatologist for as long as I've gone to one (almost two decades)! There is obviously a reason I continue to return to him and his staff. Dr. Comite is a wonderful dermatologist, but he possesses a humanity I feel is rapidly disappearing from the medical world--he truly understands "bedside manner" and I always feel like my skin is in good hands.

He assesses each patient's situation carefully and does not make rash or impulsive judgments or suggestions based on fillers or whatnot that could make him money. I could not recommend him more highly. I have never asked him a question to which he did not have an answer! What else could you ask for?

Very friendly doctor! I searched Google to find dermatologist near me because I had weird bump on my upper lip area. I called in to make an appointment and was able to book on same day! Office was easy to find, very close to Grand central station. I went in and since I was a new patient, I filled out some info and soon, I was called in. Dr. Comite examined the problem area very carefully and told me my options.

He answered all my questions and was very patient. He asked me several times if I had any other questions. He referred me to plastic surgeon near me who is very good with reasonable price since I needed a surgery in sensitive area. Dr. Comite himself called me later to check on me to make sure I had any other questions and told me I can call him anytime if I have any questions.

I was surprised since no doctors did that EVER! I called many other dermatologists in Manhattan to compare initial visit price since I don't have insurance and Dr. Comite's office had most reasonable price and was close from me. I definitely recommend him to my friends & family!

Dr. Comite has helped overall improve my skin with his recommendations and facial creams. He is a very patient doctor and is willing to answer any questions you may have - he spent the time to answer all of my questions in terms of improvement and medications. His staff is very friendly and also willing to answer any questions - Scheduling is easy, as well as rescheduling.

He got me right in, clearly got the right diagnosis, set me up with the right meds and even recommended others doctors I could see on my other stops on my business trip if things didn't improve.
