I started going to Zap years ago and would never go anywhere else! It's always a pleasant experience. The facility is very clean and the appointments are always on time. Love this place and highly recommend it!

I have been coming to Zap! consistently since September 2019 because of prior bad experiences with laser hair removal. I have been seeing Rita S. for the entirety of this time, and I can honestly say that her services have changed my life. I used to be so afraid of showing.my face in public because of my embarrassing "situation", but Rita has been so effective with my treatments.

She does a fantastic job of making me feel comfortable and heard, and is very personable. During the pandemic (ongoing?), the office did a great job of masking up, checking temperatures, disinfecting, etc. So I felt very safe going to these appointments, despite COVID-19. Nearly 2.5 years out, my skin is glowing and I feel confident in my appearance. Electrolysis is not painless and can often be unpleasant--but Zap! does a fantastic job of walking you through the process and the results speak for themselves.

Remy is so kind and attentive to finding the right settings/proper after-treatment care for each client. It has taken me years to commit to treatments for chin hair removal and I can honestly say it's worth the investment. I researched every electrologist in LA I could find online and hardly any of them would even answer the phone. Zap! immediately answered my call and were so friendly that I knew I had found the right place. Definitely recommend!

I went during the first opening after lockdown. Super clean and cautious. Only one client at a time. Masks required during treatment. Very flexible scheduling. I went here for years before pandemic. I shall continue now that it's back open. Highly recommend!

Rita is a great electrolygist. She is kind, very effective and efficient at removing hair. The office is a clean environment with state of the art technology.

Tina is an extremely knowledgeable and talented electrologist. I got my unwanted hair removed like more than 2 weeks ago and my skin looks much smother and my hair didn't grow back the way it use to. Tina Reynolds is exceptional. She's a skilled and experienced aesthetician AND a lovely person to boot. I have had electrolysis done before but have notice that after my treatments with Tina, my unwanted hairs tend to not return. Tina is extremely accommodating and is always on time. Her little cottage office in the Westwood area is clean and very comfortable.

I fly in from Tel Aviv for my sessions with Tina. Ive been a client since day 1 and there's no one else I'd trust with my face!

On 03/2016, I decided to permanently remove hair from my chin, chest, and stomach area to build my self esteem. I was a little apprehensive due to the pain(slight) caused by the heat but, I knew having electrolysis done is the only way I can permanently remove the unwanted hair. Thanks to Remy my self esteem has been restored. I no longer have to hide my neck area nor do I have to manually remove the hair myself. Lastly, the prices are reasonable and the staff have excellent customer service.

There aren't enough words to describe how amazing Tina is - she is truly a gem! I started doing electrolysis on my chin area about a year ago and saw a few not so great electrologists before finding Tina. Since seeing her, I have noticed a HUGE difference in the amount of hair and speed of growth on my face. She is extremely knowledgable about the process of electrolysis, and the joy she gets from helping her clients is palpable. Also, her rates are extremely reasonable - more so than any other electrologist I've come across. Scheduling is easy and I felt at ease with her from the first session.

She goes out of her way to accommodate her patients and is so kind, while staying professional. I can't encourage you enough to book a appointment with her and try it yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Tina was amazing! Her electrolysis is so fast, almost painless (I just put on topical cbd oil before to numb) and she was fun to talk to! Highly recommend!

Highly recommend. First came here 10 years ago and was delighted with results then. ( no regrowth since) This time I wanted to remove hair in a different area and new the only place I could totally trust to do a good job was Zap! I see Tina who is fantastic. It does hurt a little but no more than waxing in my opinion. And is definitely worth it. Take a couple ibuprofen 30-60 before and apply the recommended numbing cream and you should be fine. Take advantage of their consultation offer to see if you can handle it.

First time visiting the ZAP Spa! But not the first time visiting Rhia! She used to be my estitician at a different Spa and recently moved to the ZAP location. The Spa layout gives you a lot more privacy than others do. I had an entire (big) room to myself and trust me, the feeling of space arounds contributes to the relaxing process. Rhia was wonderful as always. She's amazing at tweezing eyebrows and the best at facials.

Today I had the Harvest Facial. A treatment that does all the regular things, such as cleaning and extractions but uses organic products. but what makes the Harvest Facial extra special is the paprika mask. It gets your blood flowing and the results are always amazing. When trying this, give yourself a whole day to recover and loose the redness it gives.

But once you shake that off, your skin will look better than ever before! ZAP is located in a little collection of shops (see picture) and it's not hard to find. Parking is at the back of the location, enter through the alley on one of the side streets.

If you want results, don't go anywhere else but Zap! I consistently went to another electrologist prior to switching over to Zap and I was not seeing good results. I've been to Zap probably 4 times and am seeing much better results than I have at the other place. Tina, the owner, is so friendly and sweet. She takes me in right when I arrive, I never have to wait.

She talks to you throughout the session and makes the appointment seem like a total breeze. She also does after care, which soothes the skin. She takes her time and makes sure that she targets all the areas you want to be zapped. Highly recommend Zap!

Tina at Zap! changed everything for me. I had a truly embarrassing amount of chin and neck hair that got worse after attempting laser hair removal. I'm so lucky I ended up at Zap! with Tina! Her initial consultation made me feel so comfortable and I knew she had seen it all. Prices are also insanely reasonable for the permanent results you get. Monthly appointments turned to every two months, and then three. and I could not be happier with the turnout.

Not once did it irritate my extremely sensitive and dry skin, and Tina always put me at ease even during hour long appointments. Not having to worry about this embarrassing and unwanted hair was an incredibly worthy investment. The only upset is I don't see Tina every month anymore. time to pick another spot to treat!

I come here for electrolysis from Maryam, and I adore her. She makes what can be a somewhat uncomfortable experience something I actually look forward to! I've been pleased with my results and have recommended Maryam to friends. The prices are reasonable, and the service is always fast, efficient and friendly. My skin is better for having come to Zap.

Menopause, I discovered, can be pretty hairy. I'm blonde and fair skinned and had never had a problem with facial hair before. I started plucking the pesky hairs which over the years multiplied and morphed into a forest of bristly stubs. Not attractive or good for ones self confidence. I did my research and discovered that laser hair removal, although less painful, is not suited to fair skinned people.

The only permanent solution is electrolysis. I kept putting off the inevitable, but eventually I'd had enough and through the recommendation of a trusted esthetician friend I found Tina at Zap Electrolysis. Why on earth did I wait so long?! Tina is amazing. From the get-go she was very upfront and told me that the entire process would probably take 6-8 months and she was right.

Here I am 7 months later with chin and upper lip just about hair free. After the first 4 months, the weekly, 20 minute visits dwindled to bi weekly 15 minute appointments and now I'm down to once monthly on a needs only basis. It was a little painful at first, but as the treatment progressed it got easier as I developed a tolerance. After each session Tina applies a wonderful cooling and healing treatment.

Any facial redness I experienced after each session lasted about 30 minutes, but after that I was pretty much back to normal. I followed Tina's aftercare instructions and never had any problems. The salon is clean and welcoming and Tina and her staff are professional and caring. There are 2 parking spaces behind the salon & there's plenty of metered street parking as well. I'm so happy I found Tina.

Life during & after menopause has its challenges, facial hair doesn't have to be one of them. Don't wait. Deal with it, go see Tina. You'll be really happy you took the plunge.
