Electrolysis, often referred to as the Galvanic method, represents the original form of permanent hair removal. This process applies a direct electrical current to each follicle, creating a chemical reaction between the salt and water naturally present. The reaction dissolves the papilla, preventing regrowth. While effective, it is slow, averaging 3060 seconds per follicle.
Thermolysis

Developed in the 1920s, thermolysis revolutionized electrolysis by replacing DC current with high-frequency AC current. The generated vibration creates heat, which coagulates the papilla to prevent hair from returning. Blend

Through the Blend process, also called the dual or sequential technique, we use a combination of Galvanic and Thermolysis at reduced levels to effectively target the papilla. The heat of Thermolysis accelerates the chemical effect created by Galvanic. This partnership allows for quicker treatment times while benefiting from Thermolysis features.
